SHAH ALAM - The Selangor government is giving a 20 to 25 per cent discount on assessment rates to low-cost flat dwellers in the state.

Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said the matter would be brought up at the state executive council (EXCO) meeting on Wednesay for approval.

However, he said, only owners of low-cost flats who were registered with the Joint Management Bodies (JMBs) and staying at the flats would be eligible for the discount.
